St Stephen's Island

The first mention about it was in the mid-15th century (1442), when a fortress was built on the island for protection against the Ottoman Empire, named St. Stephen. Over time, the need for a fortress disappeared and the island became a simple fishing village. However, in 1957 it was decided to relocate all the locals and the island was turned into a prestigious hotel town.

All the old huts on the island were converted into luxury rooms with the most modern (natural) materials in the interior and prestigious equipment (smart plumbing, Jacuzzi tubs) in the rooms. All this renovation has been done without disturbing the island's appearance or its age-old colouring. In addition, a bank, hairdressers, beauty salons, a pastry shop, a shopping centre, a garage and much more have been opened for the convenience of  holidaymakers.

Many screen stars, show celebrities and successful models like to spend their holidays on St. Stephen for many reasons. You also have a chance to see well-known royal families of Europe on holiday there.
