The Millennium Bridge is a symbol of Podgorica. Built in 2005, it connects the banks of the Moraca River, the Old Town and the New Town. The Millennium Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge with a pylon and is 140 metres long and 57 metres high. It was designed by Mladen Ulichevic, and its construction cost the government 7 million euros. The bridge is particularly picturesque at night, lit by a special illumination.
