The journey lasts five days. It starts and ends in the city of Podgorica.

Each participant is provided with a gpx file with a map of the route, a hard copy description of the tour with overnight accommodations, their detailed coordinates, a description of sights along the way and upcoming activities. Departure time is set by agreement of the tour participants. The route got such a name due to the fact that on your way you will see the main "water" attractions of Montenegro: Niagara waterfall, Skadar Lake (the largest and most picturesque lake in Montenegro), the Crnojevica River, Salt Lake, the Zeta river flood plain and, of course, you will have a beautiful view of the Adriatic.

The cost will be increased if you choose a guided tour. The cost of rental bikes is calculated separately depending on your choice.

The route is based on the technical features of our bikes, which means that a fully charged battery is guaranteed to get you to your next overnight stop, regardless of the weight of the rider. Please note that at the end of the ride, it is essential to recharge the battery of the bike for the following day's ride. In some cases, slight route changes are possible due to the availability of hotels along the route.

Day by Day

1. First day

Podgorica - Virpazar (44km)

The time of setting off is agreed with the rest of the tour participants. We go in the direction of Virpazar. On the way we stop at Niagara waterfall (it is open from October to July every year). Before entering the town of Virpazar the road goes over the bridge over the largest and most picturesque lake in Montenegro, Lake Skadar. A cozy hotel with a restaurant and antiques museum awaits you in Virpazar. At the request of guests, the hotel staff will organise a boat trip on the lake and suggest a place where you can taste the most delicious fish on the lake - we highly recommend you don't miss this unforgettable opportunity.

2. Second day

Virpazar - Cetinje (40km)

After breakfast we leave for the old capital of Montenegro, Cetinje. There is a must stop on the way in a natural oasis in the middle of harsh mountains, at Rijeka Crnojevica. You have to find the cosiest café on the bank of the river of the same name and enjoy the mix of unspoilt nature and traditional Montenegrin coffee. In the city of Cetinje there are many interesting museums and historical monuments. The most interesting place in Cetinje which we recommend that you probably visit is Cetinje monastery.

3. Third day

Cetinje - Njeguši (30km)

Off we go to the village of Negosi. The trail goes through Lovcen National Park, where you will see Montenegrin nature, almost untouched by a man. The track marks the spot on the route with a stunning view of the Montenegrin coastline and the Adriatic Sea. They say if you are lucky with the weather and there is no haze over the sea, one can see the coast of Italy through a telescope from this place. In Negusi everyone is welcome to try the famous all over Montenegro Neguskij prshut and cheese, which is produced in this very place.

4. Fourth day

Njeguši - Nikšić (64km)

We are heading towards Niksic. You will see an extraordinarily  beautiful freshwater lake with a funny name Salt Lake on the way. An overnight stay is planned in wooden houses on the shore of Lake Krupacko. Anyone can rent a boat and go fishing. If you catch fish, the hospitable hosts of the ethno-village will help you to prepare it for dinner.

5. Fifth day

Nikšić - Podgorica (66km)

We leave Niksic for the capital city of Montenegro, Podgorica. We will ride along the picturesque floodplain of the Zeta River almost all the way. The route map shows the location, from which we can see the Orthodox monastery of Ostrog, located high in the mountains. In Podgorica we return to the hotel from which our journey began.
